Talking about the song Shruti says, `Zaroorat is a story about every individual who is suffering in one way or another and how we should stand for each other and unite ourselves. This initiative is taken by Varun Prabhudayal Gupta, one fine day he called me and asked me to sing few lines but he didn't disclose about the project and later I got to know about Zaroorat and I feel blessed to be part of this great initiative and to work with such legends like Shri Shatrugan Sinha ji & his daughter Sonakshi Sinha.
Previously Shruti has also got many applauds for her songs like Mann Bhareya - female version, her another version of tujhe kitna chahne lage hum also featured in 104 FM and her recent most loved composition `Na Jaa` with well-known record producer and composer Sumit is also running successfully on all audio streaming platforms and songdew tv. She has been also received Lata Alankaran award for the best singer. Shruti believes whatever she is today it's all because of her father Late Mr. Sanjeev Sharma as he always wanted to see her grow in Music Industry.
The song features Shatrughan Sinha & Sonakshi Sinha on the narrative lead. It's the first time the father & daughter duo are together on the work front. It also features rapper 'Muhfaad' to make the message reach out to youth in the most sustainable way.
