Pankaj Tripathi's favourite short film 'Laali' is all set for its world premiere!

Pankaj Tripathi has earned a name in the Indian film industry with his renowned acting in several films. The actor has appeared predominantly in Hindi films, who debuted in 2004 with a minor role in 'Run' and 'Omkara' and has since worked in more than 40 films and 60 television shows. Tripathi's breakthrough came in 2012 for his antagonistic role in the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' film series. Now, exactly after 8 years, Pankaj is coming up with his much-awaited web-series, 'Mirzapur' season 2 on October 23rd. But before the release, the actor has also excited his fans with the poster of his new short-film.

Pankaj Tripathi shared the poster of his upcoming short film 'Laali' quoted with the words 'A man. A dress. The film has been directed by Abhiroop Basu and produced by Sireesha Kadiyala, Madhu Singhee, and Sushila Jain. The short film is all set for the World Premiere at the ninth edition of the prestigious Dharamshala International Film Festival 2020 which will take place between October 29 and November 4. Due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic, the festival would be held online. On the other side, Pankaj Tripathi will be seen next in Amazon Prime's crime-thriller 'Mirzapur' season 2 along with Divyenndu, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Sheeba Chadha, Harshita Gaur in the pivotal roles. Mirzapur 2 will stream on Amazon Prime, October 23rd.
