Ram Gopal Varma ki Sholey is ready for release and July 13 has been fixed for the movie to hit the screens. Although 13 is not considered to be an auspicious day for may, the makers of the film are unconcerned about such superstitions.

Tell Ramu that the film is being released on an inauspicious day and he says, "But not by my calendar. I like to do the unthinkable".

They claim that this Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Sushmita Sen starrer is completely different from the original.

The first difference is that the original movie was three hours and 19 minutes long, whereas Ramu's is around two-and-a-half hour story. Secondly, Ramu's Sholay has more characters than Ramesh Sippy's. Last, but not the least, Ramu's story revolves around Gabbar played by Big B.

It has been said that Sushmita's performance as the widow Radha will stun the audience. As for the Mehbooba song, Ram Gopal Varma has Amitabh and Abhishek dancing with Urmila.
