On Monday, the entire tinsel town came to a halt when Mumbaikars experienced an unannounced power cut. Soon after, the power cut outrage became a trend on social media when several B-town celebs started expressing their concern over the issue. Actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Nimrat Kaur, Ali Fazal and others took to social media and urged people to stay calm and do not lose their patience. Being an ardent user of social media, Sonu Sood also requested everyone deal with the situation with forbearance.

Sonu Sood took to Twitter and mentioned how the entire country came to know when the electricity in Mumbai went off for two hours. But even today, there are many houses in the country that do not get electricity even for two hours. The actor tweeted in Hindi which reads, "मुंबई में दो घंटे से बिजली नहीं तो पूरे देश को पता चल गया। लेकिन आज भी देश में ऐसे बहुत से घर हैं जिन्हें दो घंटों के लिए भी बिजली नहीं मिलती। इसलिए कृपा धैर्य रखें।" Check out his tweet here -

Well, there was also a netizens section who were sharing some hilarious memes on the issue, and actors like Kunal Kemu posted a short video in which he compared what happens in other states when the light goes off and what happens in Mumbai.

On the work front, he was last seen in Rohit Shetty's cop universe 'Simmba' as Durva Ranade. On the other side, Sonu Sood will join the star cast of Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historical period-drama film, 'Prithviraj' alongside Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar.
