When asked about the parallels of a film making process portrayed in the film, Director Zakariya Mohammed spills some beans and says, `While there is a film within the film, through our story and narrative we wanted to give a different perspective of working on a film. Halal Love Story is about a group of religious people who decide to make a film. They are film enthusiasts and are involved in other art forms like drama, street plays, but now aspire to make a movie that adheres to their religious / social restrictions."
He further reveals, "Halal Love Story is about the coexistence of these two sets of diverse people and we tell the story sincerely in a humorous way." Halal Love story surely promises a fun ride, and there's no way one would want to miss it.
