It's been a year into her pledge and Bhumi has turned vegetarian. Yes, you heard it right. An actress who loves non-vegetarian food since her childhood has turned vegetarian due to her deep focus on climate change and how it affects the plants and animals. Bhumi recently revealed that she always wanted to turn vegetarian but it's not easy to break our habits. She also revealed that her journey with climate warrior has made her more humble towards other species. Bhumi said that eating non-veg doesn't make her feel good.
Here is what she wrote, " For many years I had the want to go vegetarian. But breaking habits are very tough. My journey with climate warrior taught me a lot. It made me more compassionate towards other species and made me more humble. Eating meat just didn't feel good anymore. So I took a decision in the lockdown and did what I was contemplating to do for a while now and one day I announce to the fam, that I'm giving up non-vegetarian. Today it's been a few months and I feel good, guilt-free and physically strong. " Check out her post here -
