The decision to reopen theatres from October 15th onwards has been taken as a part of Unlock 5.0 as per the central government guidelines. As for now, only Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh and Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer 'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhaari' is set to release on November 13th. Apart from this, Kabir Singh's '83' is releasing on Christmas. As no filmmakers have announced the release date of their upcoming films although other big-budgeted films such as 'The Big Bull', 'Laxmmi Bomb', 'Durgavati', 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' and others star-studded film opted the rout of digital release amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

Cinema halls are opening with 50% occupancy with measured guidelines, which may affect the gross collection of the newly released films. That is why the cinema halls are re-releasing various successful films in theatres. Trade Analyst and critic Taran Adarsh has also officially announced the news on social media and shared the list of Hindi films that are releasing on this weekend. The list includes 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior', 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan', 'Malang', 'Kedarnath' and 'Thappad' will be making it to the theatres once again.

Taran Adarsh tweeted, "As cinemas ready to reopen their doors from this week onwards, the list of #Hindi films scheduled for re-release this week is OFFICIALLY announced... #Tanhaji, #ShubhMangalZyadaSaavdhan, #Malang, #Kedarnath, #Thappad. More films will be scheduled in the coming days." He further added Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's action film, 'War' which is also ready for its re-release. Check out his tweet here -





With speculated films list which was released directly on the OTT platforms are now rumored to release in the cinema hall. On this, Taran Adarsh tweeted, "IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENT... There was talk that films premiered on #OTT platforms [#DilBechara, #Sadak2, #ShakuntalaDevi, #KhudaHaafiz, #GunjanSaxena, #GulaboSitabo] *might* release in cinemas... But leading multiplex chains [#PVR, #INOX, #Carnival] decide NOT TO SCREEN these films. #Cinepolis multiplex chain won’t screen these films as well." Check out his tweet here -



Although theatres in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, Delhi are yet to open as per the state unlock guidelines. All the cinema halls are bound to follow SOPs, which include one seat distance in theatres, 50 percent capacity, wearing masks at all times, proper ventilation, and air conditioner temperature settings at above 23 degrees Celsius. Well, Vivek Oberoi's 'PM Narendra Modi' biopic is going to be the first film to release in the cinema halls on October, 15th.
