Kangana Ranaut calls herself, 'Bollywood first-ever legitimate action heroine'!
On August 28th, Kangana Ranaut announced her next film 'Tejas' will go on floors in December this year. The actress also shared a poster from the film, in which she can be seen standing in front of an IAF fighter plane while donning the uniform and posing for the camera. Apart from Tejas, the actress is also prepping for her next spy-drama 'Dhakaad'. Recently, Kangana shared a video and called herself Bollywood's first-ever legitimate action heroine while taking a dig at Jaya Bachchan's 'Thali comment'.

Kangana Ranaut has started training sessions for upcoming films 'Tejas' and 'Dhakaad' in which the actress will portray the roles of Fauji and spy, respectively. She further pats on herself and calls herself the first-ever legitimate action heroine. She shared a training session video on Twitter and wrote, "I have started action training for my upcoming action films #Tejas and #Dhakaad I play a Fauji and a Spy respectively in these films. Bollywood ki thali may have given me a lot but post Manikarnika success I too have given Bollywood it's first ever legitimate action heroine." Check out her tweet here -



Helmed by Sarvesh Mewara, 'Tejas' is the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, played by Kangana Ranaut. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country's defense forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016 and the film is inspired by this landmark event. Director Razneesh Razy Ghai has co-written the film with Chintan Gandhi and Rinish Ravindra and the screenplay has been written by Ritesh Shah. Dhaakad has been produced by Sohail Maklai productions and Asylum films, co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media.
