After spending her precious time in quarantine, Alia Bhatt has resumed the shoot of her upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The biographical drama has been the adaptation of Hussain Zaidi's book, 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'. In the film, Alia will portray the role of Gangubai Kothewali, a fierce brothel owner who was rumored to have had gangsters as her clients. Apart from this, she will soon join the 'RRR' star cast as SS Rajamouli has resumed the shooting of the upcoming period-drama film. The film features Ram Charan and N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the parallel lead. The action drama also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. Apart from them, Rajamouli has also roped international names like Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. The film is scheduled to release in 2021.
