Anurag Basu has an eclectic ensemble cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Sanya Malhotra, and Fatima Sana Shaikh for the upcoming dark anthology film, 'Ludo'. The film revolves around the stories of four people, living in a metro city, whose lives intersect with each other just like a game of Ludo. Even earlier, Anurag Basu's 2007 film 'Life In A..Metro' was also based on the same plotline but with a twist of tangled relationships. Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and other star cast revealed their looks from the film when the film was announced for a digital release.

While sharing the stills, Rajkummar Rao said, ''Watch four players take fate into their own hands in a high stakes game where nothing is a coincidence and everything is planned.'' Now according to the sources, 'the film is all set to release on Netflix on the occasion of Diwali and the film trailer will be out on October 19th'. Well, already on Diwali weekend, Akshay Kumar's 'Laxmmi Bomb' is releasing on Disney+Hotsatar and Rajkummar Rao's 'Chhalaang' on Amazon Prime's streaming service and now we have see if Ludo released on Netflix on the rumored date then Rajkumma may have to face off with his own Amazon release 'Chhalaang'. Earlier Ludo was set for March release but later slated for April release and due to the Coronavirus, the makers shifted the film for future release.
