Bejoy Nambiar who is known for directing idiosyncratic films such as 'Solo', 'Wazir', 'David', 'Shaitan', and others, is yet ready for his digital debut with his upcoming revenge drama, 'Taish'. This time, Nambiar brings his distinct kind of story in the form of a film as well as a six-episode web series. On Wednesday, Zee Music launched the first song 'Kol Kol' on various social media platforms. The song is sung by Jyotica Tangri who is more famous for her song 'Phir Bhi Tumko Chaahungi' from Half Girlfriend.

The song has been composed by Raghab Sachar. The song is penned by lyricist Rohit Sharma and recorded, mixed and mastered by Raghav Sachar at Autotune studio in Mumbai. The song 'Kol Kol' is a melodious one that highlights the complicated relationship of Rohan Karla (Jim Sarbh) and Aarfa Khan (Kriti Kharbanda), Pali (Harshvardhan Rane) and Jahaan (Sanjeeda Sheikh). Explaining the unprecedented move of releasing the same project as a film as well as a web series, Nambiar said: "In the last five or six years, we have seen a paradigm shift in the way the audience consumes content -- from short formats to binge-worthy long formats and straight-to-digital film premieres, etc. As creators, we, too, are constantly navigating and adapting to these changes."

"Since consumer viewing patterns are constantly evolving, we wanted to give them a choice to watch our content in the way they would like to. After giving it some thought and as a first of its kind initiative, 'Taish' has found different formats as a six-part web series and a film -- each equally effective," the filmmaker explained.

Bejoy Nambiar's 'Taish' is a drama film as well as six episode series based on the motive of revenge. The movie's cast includes Pulkit Samrat, Kriti Kharbanda, Harshvardhan Rane, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Jim Sarbh. The film is produced by Bejoy Nambiar along with Nishant Pitti. Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda's fans are excited to see their favorite social media couple on the big screen once again. 'Taish' is set to be released on ZEE5, October 29th.
