Shahid Kapoor, who has grabbed Gowtam Tinnanuri's upcoming sports flick 'Jersey' is all set to make it big on the screen. Shahid Kapoor is currently shooting for the same and leaves no chance to treat his fans with glimpses of his shoots. The actor has recently wrapped his Uttarakhand schedule of shooting and now is all busy shooting the cricket shots for the film.

Shahid shared a glimpse of his early morning cricket practice on Instagram. The actor looks fit while showing his batting technique in the cricket gear. While sharing the post, he wrote, " Early mornings.. wake up with drive" Check out his post here -

Helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, 'Jersey' is a sports drama film and a remake of a 2019 Telugu-language film under the same title. It features Shahid Kapoor in the lead role as a cricketer who stopped his cricketing career ten years ago, now aiming to play for the Indian team. Mrunal Thakur has grabbed the female lead in the film.

Backed by Allu Aravind, Aman Gill, and Dil Rajuwas, the film was scheduled to be theatrically released on 28 August 2020 but got delayed due to COVID-19.
