Q: So is it a negative character again?
A: No, I cannot call it a negative role, as it is more real and human. It is appropriate to say that it has gray shades. When he is placed in tricky situations, he tackles and reacts in a human way and does not appear to be over hyped or extra-ordinary.
Q: Sachin is now known as ‘Krishna'. What's the mystery behind it?
A: Yes, I have changed my name from Sachin to Krishna. This is because only people who know me personally know me as Sachin, but my fans and other people know me as Krishna as I became famous with my role ‘Krishna' in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki.
I should have changed it much before, but its not too late even now. So now I am Krishna and not Sachin.
Q: Are you happy with the role you are playing in Saath Phere? Which is your dream role?
A: Yes, I am really happy with the role I am playing in Saath Phere, as it is more real and more human. I don't have to put any extra effort to convince people to this role natural. And as for my dream role, I must say that it is the role played by Shah Rukh Khan in Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jaayege. It is very romantic and nice.
Q: Your debut movie ‘Mummiji' is all set for release. Tell us something about your role in the movie.
A: Yes, my debut movie is all for release soon and Kiron Kher plays the lead role in Mummiji and I play her son. It is a fun film where my character is very close to his mother and they share a very different and unique mother-son chemistry.
Q: How was experience working with Kiron Kher and Jackie Shroff?
A: I am very excited about the film and the experience I gained by working with both of them was amazing. I think Kiron Kher is an amazing human being. I could have loved to celebrate Mothers' Day with her.
Q: So which one do you like more, television or films?
A: I like both television and films. But I respect television in a way that it has given me fame and a great platform. However, I have always dreamt of being a Bollywood actor so it is more close to me, as it is my ambition and the ultimate goal.
Q: So, this means that you would stop acting in television....
A: No, on the contrary, I would continue acting in television in some or the other. But I would certainly like to do more films. Television gave me name and fame, but films will create history. - (SAMPURN)
