Day 5, 25th October, will see the lovely Athiya Shetty strutting down the virtual ramp as muse for designer Aisha Rao. The designer's collections over the years showcase applique, bold colour choices, juxtaposition and quirk, each season her vision lies in creating unique upcycled luxury occasion wear that relied solely on appliqueing fabric. However, this time around she has taken a step further toward her long-term vision of zero waste by introducing a range of occasion wear embroidered using sock bands that get left behind in the sock manufacturing process. The aari technique has been used to tie the sock waste together in each motif.
