Nowadays, Bhatt and Kapoor's families are celebrating every occasion all together whether it is about any birthday or festival, their social media handles are evidence of their togetherness. Recently, Alia Bhatt's mother Soni Razdan celebrated her birthday and was joined by husband Mahesh Bhatt, daughter Shaheen, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's family along with her mother Netu, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and her daughter Samara in a private party.

On the work front, Soni Razdan was last seen in Siddharth Anand's 'War' (2019) and played the role of Nafeesa Rahmani in the film. Perhaps, Soni is the mother of Alia Bhatt and wife of Mahesh Bhatt and known well for her strong performances in films such as No Fathers in Kashmir (2019), Raazi (2018) and Shootout at Wadala (2013).

More about Alia, then recently she has resumed the shooting of her upcoming film 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The biographical drama has been the adaptation of Hussain Zaidi's book, 'Mafia Queens of Mumbai'. In the film, Alia will portray the role of Gangubai Kothewali, a fierce brothel owner who was rumored to have had gangsters as her clients. Apart from this, she will soon join the 'RRR' star cast as SS Rajamouli has resumed the shooting of the upcoming period-drama film. The film features Ram Charan and N. T. Rama Rao Jr. in the parallel lead. The action drama also features Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role. Apart from them, Rajamouli has also roped international names like Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. The film is scheduled to release in 2021.
