Nawazuddin Siddiqui is on the seventh heaven with his back to back film announcements. Recently, it was announced that the actor will be seen in an untitled film, helmed by Sejal Shah, who produced his film 'Serious Men' (2020). Now, Nawazuddin is all set to play the lead role in Jaideep Chopra's film which is initially considered as a thriller film. Siddiqui described the film as a `unique film` and said he is thrilled to be essaying a 'thought-provoking character'. The actor will once again share the screen with Sacred Games actress Elnaaz Norouzi. Although, in Sacred Games they have shared the screen for limited time.

Trade Analyst and critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and made the announcement of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's upcoming film 'Sangeen'. In an interview with the leading entertainment portal, the actor said, `I am looking forward to teaming up once again with Elnaaz Norouzi after 'Sacred Games' The script is an experimental one and I am sure Jaideep Chopra will do full justice to it and together we will be able to discover something novel."

'Sangeen' is a thriller film helmed by Jaideep Chopra and produced by Gurjit Singh and Ankit Khanna. In the film, Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen opposite Sacred Games actress Elnaaz Norouzi. The film music will be composed by Raftaar and will go on the floor from January 2021. Sangeen will shoot simultaneously in Mumbai and London. The film is expected to hit the theatres in 2021.
