Producer Gaurang Doshi who has produced films like 'Aankhen' and 'Deewaar' was all set to jump into the digital world with his first web series 7th sense. But it has been recently learned that the web series has hit a checkpoint. As per the reports of a leading media portal, the star-studded web series has been stalled after its financiers backed out of it at the last moment.

The mystery thriller series had R Madhavan, Rohit Roy, Vijay Raaz, Elli AvrRam, Aashim Gulati, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya and Doshi was supposed to mark his comeback to the film business after the hiatus of nearly 17 years.

Speaking about the same, a media source said, "7th Sense is not happening anymore. The production was stopped in the second week of September itself after its UAE financier suddenly backed out of the project. The whole 100+ cast and crew comprising the actors, director, technical team, cinematographers, production designer, and ADs were put up in isolation in Dubai's leading 5-star fashion hotel for one month and recently returned to India. They barely shot for around 10 days before the project was put on the back burner,"

Gaurang had announced the two web series 7th Sense and Line of Fire that was backed by Al Zaroomi, an Emirati businessman, Guinness Book of World Record holder, and Ambassador at Large Dubai, UAE. Madhu Bhandari was the co-producer while Amey D. Nagolkar and Munir Awan were the associate producers.

The team was planning to shoot for 7th Sense from September followed by Line of Fire (starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Prakash Raj, Vijay Raaz, and Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub) from the end of October but the sudden back out of the AI Zaroomi and other financiers has left both the projects shelved.
