Staying true to its name, the label is named after the alluring mystique and versatility of the regal peacock, who spreads its wings and enjoys every living moment like it should be celebrated. The colour pink is the signature brand colour which not only evokes feelings of happiness and positivity but is also a colour close to the heart of the designer - Masumi Mewawalla. The Labyrinth collection was well innovated and had been professionally researched and developed of fundamentals of spiritual shapes and figures.
The occult thought process behind the designer collection emerged on the ramp to wow the audience brandishing thaumaturgic symbols that included: The Seed of Life, Flower of Life, The Sri Yantra and Matron's Cube. To exemplify the transcendental imagery and to reflect is in the exclusive cuts and silhouettes, the designer nattily uses sequin textile and twinned them with a subtle tone of pastel pink, grey and whites.
One of the other first collections, titled Adorn, was all about romance with a vintage appeal and contemporary touches. The feminine and easy to wear collection featured floral embroidery and 3D elements for ornamentation on most of the garments. The show was followed by Jayanti Reddy's collection Rouge, which was essentially a poesy, a sonnet to different shades of Blood red. The bold outfits made from Chanderi and satin fabrics and was all about exorbitance mixed with glamour.
Next came in the Neo-Phulkari collection ascertained by the designer duo Sukriti and Aakriti, which showcased the outfits that were vibrant, colourful, and made with an embroidery technique, originated from Punjab. The collection was gracefully propagated on the ramp by the talented Bollywood stars Radhika Madan and Aparshakti Kurana playing showstopper.
This show was protracted with Anushree Reddy's collection `Nazira`, which also include hues red, pinks and mauves. Along with which, it had a perfect mix of romance and feminity. Each ensemble was crafted into an elegant design with handcrafted 3D crystal work, balanced out with delicate thread work.
The show closed with Kunal Rawal showcasing his latest collection, that was a monochromatic colour schemed with the sombre tuning of whites, blacks and grey hues saturated various silhouettes and patterns. Ishaan Khatter walked the runway looking crisp along with bewitching Sonakshi Sinha accompanied by the designer leaving the audience in absolute awe.
