And reportedly, Arjun Kapoor has been approached for playing the role of an investigating cop in the film. The movie is said to roll out in February next year and has also got a tentative title 'Dhamaka'.
"It's tentatively titled Dhamaka, which signifies the impact of the news across the globe - more like a Dhamaka that it created, the shock value that it had on people at a global level due to the magnitude of the crime. However, there are some other titles in contemplation too with Dhamaka in the forefront,`, a media source revealed.
The movie will reportedly be directed by Pulkit, who earlier made the 2017 thriller 'Maroon'. Apart from Dhamaka, SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment is also backing two other films - one with Abhishek Bachchan as Bob Biswas, a spin-off of Kahani, and the other being a dark comedy with Alia Bhatt.
Speaking about Arjun Kapoor's upcoming projects, the actor will be seen sharing screen space with Rakul Preet Singh in Kaashive Nair's yet-untitled cross border love story that also stars John Abraham and Aditi Rao Hydari.
