According to an entertainment portal, "Salman Khan is raring to get back on the sets after a break of six months due to the lockdown. The actor will be seen making a special appearance in Mahesh Manjrekar's directorial." It has been stated that Salman Khan will portray the role of a cop and will have several confrontational scenes with Aayush's character who will play the role of a gangster in the film. For now, Mahesh Manjrekar is working towards the plotline in order to amplify the fight between good and evil and to elaborate the Salman's character.
'Antim' is the official Hindi remake of the Marathi film, 'Mulshi Pattern'. The original film revolves around Sakharam, a farmer who sells his land due to financial constraints. However, his son, Rahul, holds it against him because he is forced to join hands with a criminal in order to earn money. In the Marathi original, the cop role that will be played by Salman in the Hindi remake was only a cameo but Manjrekar has now twisted the script a bit to enhance Salman's presence in the film.
On the work front, Salman will next be seen in Prabhu Deva's action-drama film 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai' opposite Disha Patani in the lead role. The film also features Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff in key roles. Apart from this, Salman also has films like, 'Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali' co-starring Pooja Hegde and 'Kick 2' with Jacqueline Fernandez in his pipeline.
