The remake of the Hollywood film, 'Forrest Gump', titled 'Laal Singh Chaddha' is one of the most awaited films of Bollywood but unfortunately amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the film schedules were delayed. A few months back, the cast and crew have started shooting for the film and now some pictures have been leaked from the film set. In the pictures, Aamir can be seen playing ping pong and has been shot at Shahid Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida.

The scene has been straight inspired by the original film where, during the Army basic training, Forest develops a talent for ping-pong, and becomes a sports celebrity as he competes against Chinese teams in ping-pong diplomacy, earning him an interview alongside John Lennon on The Dick Cavett Show.

Well, in the film, Aamir will play the role of a man with low IQ, who recounts the early years of his life when he found himself in the middle of key historical events. But all he wants is to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart Maneela (Kareena Kapoor Khan). Recently, Kareena finished her last schedule with Aamir Khan for Advait Chandan's 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.

Laal Singh Chaddha is a comedy-drama film directed by Advait Chandan with production by Aamir Khan Productions and Viacom18 Studios. Loosely based on the American comedy-drama film Forrest Gump (1994) tracing historical things, it stars Aamir Khan in the title role with Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi (in his Hindi film debut) and Mona Singh. The film is speculated to be released in 2021 on the eve of Christmas.
