ZEE5's London Confidential was one of the films which was shot and released in the Coronavirus pandemic and after the success of the first installment, the digital platform is coming with its next season titled 'Lahore Confidential'. The second installment stars Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh and Karishma Tanna in the lead roles. As in the previous film, Mouni Roy and Purab Kohli were shown two brave RAW agents' who put their efforts into thwarting a Chinese conspiracy involving biological warfare. ZEE5 has released the trailer of Lahore Confidential and filmmaker Kunal Kohli who helmed the film described it as a `contemporary, elegant and thrilling love story of two spies that will put them in a tug of war with each other`.

Lahore Confidential is a plotline revolves around a divorced Indian woman (Richa Chadha) who is living a mundane life but things take a drastic turn when she finds herself on intelligence duty in Pakistan. More on the story, Richa said, `Lahore Confidential brings the genre of spy and romantic thriller in a way that will keep the viewers hooked to the plot. My favourite part of the film is the old school romance banter mixed with its espionage. I can't wait for the audience to witness this great story filled with romance, action, poetry, and a lot more thrill."

The film's first installment was created by Hussain Zaidi. Lahore Confidential is a spy-thriller franchise directed by Kunal Kohli and starring Karishma Tanna, Richa Chadha, Arunoday Singh in lead roles. The film will be produced by JAR Pictures and will be released on ZEE5 on December 11, 2020.
