According to a leading newspaper report, "Director-choreographer Ahmed Khan has taken the rights to make a film on the life of Nan Singh Rawat, who made Tibet's map by risking his life for Britishers in Tibet. On November 16, the filmmaker is all set to explore the shot location. Tiger Shroff will also be involved in the entire development from Mumbai on Tuesday on a zoom call. This project is being prepared at the behest of BJP minister Satpal Maharaj."
Nain Singh, also known as Nain Singh Rawat, was one of the first of the late 19th century Indian explorers who explored the Himalayas for the British. He came from the Johar Valley in Kumaon. He surveyed the trade route through Nepal to Tibet, determined for the first time the location and altitude of Lhasa in Tibet, and surveyed a large section of the Brahmaputra. During his secret survey of Tibet, Nain Singh was the first non-Tibetan to visit many legendary areas of Tibet, including the Thok Jalung goldfields on 26 August 1867. He would later say that Thok Jalung was the coldest place he had ever visited. He also mapped a large section of the Tsangpo, the main river flowing through Tibet. He was the first to reveal the sources of the Satluj and Indus river to the world.

The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and it is all set to hit the screens on July 16, 2021.
