On Tuesday, poet-writer-lyricist Javed Akhtar has also filed a defamation suit against the actress. It has been stated that Akhtar filed the complaint before the Andheri Metropolitan Magistrate, seeking action against Ranaut under the relevant provisions of the IPC for defamation. Earlier, Kangana Ranaut through his tweets alleged that Javed called her to his residence & threatened her on speaking out about her relationship with Hrithik Roshan. Her sister Rangoli also tweeted on the matter where she claimed that Bollywood lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar had once called the actress home and threatened her before asking her to apologize to Hrithik Roshan. Well, the Ranaut sisters' allegations made Javed take the legal step against Kangana.

Now Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter and reacted to the filed suit against her. The actress quoted Shiv Sena politician Sanjay Raut's tweet which reads, "Lyricist Javed Akhtar files criminal complaint against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for making defamatory statements on national and international television. The complaint has been filed before the Metropolitan Magistrate at Andheri, Mumbai." Reacting on the same, Kangana tweeted, "एक थी शेरनी ..... और एक भेड़ियों का झुंड ।" Check out her tweet here -

According to a report published in a leading news portal which stated, `Javed Saab is by nature very tolerant. But this was going on for too long. Remedial action had to be taken. Javed Saab has filed an elaborate defamation case against Kangana.` The reports further stated that Javed Akhtar is ready for a long term legal battle and is not ready for an out of court settlement. Kangana hasn't reacted to his filed legal suit against her yet. Well, there is already a petition filed against the actress on the ground of creating 'a communal divide between people of two communities and in the mind of common man' via her tweets on Twitter.
