Priyanka Chopra shared a video of her 20 years long journey in Bollywood on Instagram in which we can see Lara Dutta speaking about her Andaaz film memories with Priyanka. The actress captioned the post with a long note which reads, "Back to where it all started... #20in2020 Seems like another lifetime now... back when it all started and I fell in love with the movies. Being in Indian movies was like entering a magical world.. I went in blind, with no idea what to expect and no formal training. It's been a rollercoaster ride of challenges and milestones with so much I've learned since and so many incredible people I met along the way. Check out her video post here -
She further thanked Lara for her gracious words and wrote, " I'd like to thank everyone who took a chance on me at the beginning. These 3 movies set me up on a trajectory I would never have expected. Can't agree more lala paaji@larabhupathi... We were such kaccha papads (novices) !😉😂 Thank you for your beautiful words... you are as gracious and kind as the first day we met ❤️
Lara in the video said, "Working with Priyanka in Andaaz... very very special, especially if you've had that kind of history together, for her to be one of the first female co-stars that I worked with. Both of us were really, I have to say kachha papads (novices)... We really didn't know much about the industry. So, it was really good to have, you know, watching each other's backs."
Priyanka Chopra also mentioned the list of her debut films, including 'Thamizhan' 2002, 'The Hero' 2003, 'Andaaz' 2003. Well, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Dia Mirza won the Miss India pageant in 2000 . While Priyanka won the 'Miss World' title later that year, Lara Dutta was crowned 'Miss Universe' and Dia Mirza won the 'Miss Asia Pacific' title. Three years after her Miss World win, Priyanka Chopra stepped into Bollywood with Anil Sharma's 'The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy' opposite Sunny Deol.
