Everyone knows that Vivek Oberoi doesn't like to smoke, either in personal life or on screen. But, finally director Apoorva Lakhiya has convinced Vivek to smoke on screen for their upcoming release "Shootout At Lokhandwala".

Vivek, who plays the gangster Maya Dolas in the film, was initially quite apprehensive about doing smoking scenes because he hates smoking. However, he obliged Apoorva keeping in view the requirement of the script and the character, which is based on the life of a real gangster.

Being an anti-smoking ambassador, Vivek was initially hesitating to do smoking scenes on screen but he has taken this chance for the role. He is actively involved with a number of NGOs and has been working for them.

Everybody on the sets was aware of his anti-smoking nature and nobody has ever found him taking one cigarettes during the break. Though Vivek has done smoking scenes in this film, he does not endorse smoking, as he hates smoking.

Good boy, Vivek!
