Everyone wants to celebrate their birthday distinctively and the same has been done by Milind Soman who posted a picture of himself running naked on the beach on social media. The picture was clicked by his wife Ankita Konwar in Goa as they both were celebrating the birthday there. Just after the posting, his picture went viral and now the South Goa district police have booked the actor for running nude on the Goa beach and promoting obscenity through his picture. A case has been registered against Milind Soman under IPC Section 294 (Obscene acts and songs) and 67 (Punishment for publishing/transmitting obscene material in electronic form) of IT Act (Information Technology Act).

Pankaj Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, South Goa said, "An organization called Suraksha Manch had given a complaint against Soman for running nude on a beach in South Goa and then circulating those pictures on social media." Still, the actor hasn't deleted the post yet from his Instagram handle.

Recently, Poonam Pandey and her husband Sam Bombay have also been detained by the Goa police for shooting ribald video at the Chapoli Dam and trespassing government property by their actions. The couple was arrested for the same but later on granted bail on a bail bond of Rs 20,000 each.

In the bail order, the judicial magistrate first class, Canacona, stated, `A professional shoot towards the making of a video or a film, in my considered opinion cannot be outright termed as obscene or immoral merely because some members of the public say so, or there is public outcry about the same. Films and videos are covered under the right to expression, which is a fundamental right granted by our Constitution.`

Even earlier, Milind Soman model Madhu Sapre was charged by the Social Service Branch of Mumbai Police after they posed nude, wearing only a pair of shoes and a python wrapped around them, for an advertisement campaign. Well, Milind hasn't reacted to the FIR registered against him.
