All the hard work finally paid off as Delhi Capitals, formerly known as Daredevils, made it to the playoffs for the second time in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since 2012. Now the actor is waiting for Kabir Khan's next sports drama film '83 in which he will play the role of Indian captain Kapil Dev. Along with him his real-life wife, Deepika Padukone will also see opposite him. Apart from this, the actor will see doing a cameo in Rohit Shetty's cop universe 'Sooryavanshi'. His films are going to be released in 2021.
