Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is going to become the first fresh Hindi film to hit the theatres this Diwali. Whereas several big Indian films are taking the OTT route, but Zee Studios has decided to premiere it in the cinema halls only. Although, earlier its release date was November 13th but now makers have slated the date to November 15th (Monday). Amid the theatres has been opened, no big filmmaker is ready to pave the way for the cinema halls and take an easy way of earning profits through selling the film screening rights to OTT giants. Now with Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, we have to see whether audiences are ready to watch the film in the cinema halls or not.

Fatima Sana Shaikh, who is portraying the role of the lead actress in the film, made the announcement of the new release date through her Instagram. She wrote, "Muhurat nikal gaya hai. Suraj aur Mangal ka epic showdown hoga 15 November ko! 💥#SurajPeMangalBhari in cinemas on 15th Nov." Check out the release date poster here -

In the film, Diljit Dosanjh will play the role of Suraj Singh Dhillon, who is looking for the perfect bride. On the other side, detective Madhu Mangal Rane (Manoj Bajpayee), is a specialist in revealing the true face of the potential groom before the marriage. Things take a hilarious turn when Madhu Mangal breaks Suraj's wedding and then Suraj decides to make Madhu's sister fall in love with him.

Abhishek Sharma, who is directing Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, had revealed a few details about the concept of the film and said, "Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is a unique family comedy that draws humor from the quirks of its refreshing yet relatable characters. The world is set in the innocence of the 1990s when there was no social media or mobile phone."

'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari' ensemble cast includes Annu Kapoor, Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Nehha Pendse, Manuj Sharma, Neeraj Sood, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Karishma Tanna, Vanshikha Sharma amongst others. The film is all set to release on November 15, 2020 in theatres.
