Kartik's royal avatar left everyone amazed. His long hair, beefy physique and that royal-look made him look like a royal prince straight out of a mega-budget movie. He charmed us flaunting the designer's creation and no wonder the designer himself couldn't stop praising him. Recently Manish Malhotra got chatting with an online portal and spoke about his views on Gen X's superstar Kartik Aaryan. Manish recounts the first time he met him and how he knew that the young lad had spark in his eyes and caliber to slay the big screen. `I met Kartik four years ago... I saw Pyaar Ka Punchnama and I really liked it. He had come for one of my fashion shows. And I got chatting with him... Mujhe kya achcha laga usske baare mein, (what I liked about him really was) he's very passionate about acting. He spoke in his language. He was himself and there was no pretending... Some people put on a fake accent. And he had a charming smile. I told Karan (Johar) this actor we should watch out for. He is a good actor, he will go places. So I am happy he has gone places.`
Well, that's true indeed the actor has reached a pedestal and made a name for himself in a few years. The designer further adds about the young superstar's humbleness and how he's always there for him, `I am really touched that whenever I have asked him to walk for a show, even rushed to Hyderabad and he's been there. And the first time he stepped out in 8 months was for my shoot. So I think that feels good. That people remember that you believed in them. And I truly believed in him as an actor.`
Kartik Aaryan surprised his fans and the masses with his first special work-commitment post lockdown and boy, he stole the show and even set our social-media feeds on fire. The actor has two films to wrap up once he resumes work - Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2. Reportedly, he has also green lighted Ram Madhvani's next and the Ala Vaikunthapuramuloo remake.
