After ruling the marquee, Karisma Kaooor decided to opt out of the numbers game. We all know she had decided to go for films of the arty kind, rejecting offers from the likes of David Dhawan and Manoj Agarwal. Her logic is simple. It`s time she gets some awards. So enter Shyam Benegals and Madhur Bhandarkars of the world.

But like a chameleon she changes her colour at the last moment. News has it that the Kapoor girl no longer is willing to give top priority to the above directors. The new crop of directors in her list are now Vipul Shah, Rakesh Mehra and Ram Gopal Varma, who are currently in the process of making films produced by AB Corp. Karisma has taken the advice of Karan Johar rather seriously. Looks like the race for the top slot is gettin hotter by the minute!
