Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer 'Laxmii', the much-awaited film of 2020 was finally released on Disney Plus Hotstar on 9 November. The film's trailer had created a buzz ever since it was dropped on Youtube and fans were expecting 'Laxmii' to be a blockbuster. However, the film did not live up to the expectations of the viewers.

But there's good news about the film, as per the online platform, the film has broken all viewership records within hours of its release. 'Laxmii' has broken the record of Sushant Singh Rajput's 'Dil Bechara' which was also released on Disney Plus Hotstar.

The OTT platform shared the news with the fans on their official Instagram handle and wrote, "#Laxmii breaks all records to become the biggest opening movie ever on Disney+ Hotstar VIP! Thank you for all the love. Subscribe now to watch the entertainment blockbuster of the year."
