Bollywood actor Asif Basra commits suicide in Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh!

Bollywood actor Asif Basra who we have seen in popular films like 'Jab We Met' and 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbai' died by suicide on Thursday! The actor was living in Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh and died in McLeod Ganj near a cafe. The city police have begun its investigation in the case and the reason for the suicide is yet unknown.

Some sources suggest that the actor was suffering from depression, however, nothing is confirmed yet. As per the reports, the 'Patal Lok' actor Asif Basra had been living in a rented house in McLeodganj for the last 5 years. He also had a foreign girlfriend living with him. "Film actor Asif Basra was found hanging in a private complex in Dharamshala. Forensic team is at the spot and police is investigating the matter" ANI tweeted.



Asif Basra was an Indian film, television, and theatre actor and was best known for his role in the American comedy film Outsourced. The actor received much critical appreciation for playing an important role in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday and Rahul Dholakia's Parzania. Asif was indeed a talented actor. May his soul rest in peace.
