Sonu Sood shared the cover page of his upcoming book written by Sonu Sood and Meena K Iyer, titled, 'I Am No Messiah'. "#IAmNoMessiah will be out in December. This is a story of my life, as much as it is of the thousands of migrant workers. @PenguinIndia @meenaiyerofficial Pre-order in English and Hindi (link in bio)." Talking about the book, the actor said, "People have been very kind and have lovingly named me messiah. But I really do believe that I am no messiah. I simply do what my heart tells me to. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and help each other,"
"I want to thank god for making me a catalyst in helping the migrants. While my heart beats in Mumbai, after this movement I feel a part of me lives in the villages of UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Uttarakhand and various other states, where I have now found new friends and made deep connections. I have decided to put these experiences and stories that are embedded in my soul forever, in a book," Sonu had previously spoke about his work.
On the work front, he was last seen in Rohit Shetty's cop universe 'Simmba' as Durva Ranade. On the other side, Sonu Sood will join the star cast of Chandraprakash Dwivedi's historical period-drama film, 'Prithviraj' alongside Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar.
