The popular "The Oprah Winfrey Show" moves to Hallmark channel in Asia from next month.

The Emmy award-winning programme will go on air June 3 and will be screened on weekdays as well as Sunday evenings.

"This is a truly fantastic deal - Oprah is, without question, one of the most influential names in television and we're delighted to have secured these rights," said Andrew Hanna, Hallmark Channel Managing Director Asia Pacific, in a press release.

"Nothing touches the heart more than the everyday life-changing experiences faced by real people and nobody brings these stories more passionately to life than Oprah," added Hanna.

The show, which debuted in 1986, is in its 21st season and is the highest rated talk show. Winfrey recently renewed the show for the 25th season, which will be aired in 2010-2011.
