The Jug Jug Jiyo team starring Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani has kick-started the shoot on Monday in Chandigarh. The film also stars legendary actors Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor who are paired up romantically against each other. The comedy entertainer by Raj Mehta will see Neetu and Anil sharing the screen space for the first time. Filmmaker Karan Johar took it to Twitter to share a glimpse from the sets of the film and wrote `Every elders blessing ... for a long and prosperous life #JugJuggJeeyo ... the journey begins today ... with your blessings,` .

Neetu Kapoor who is making her comeback in films since her last film with his late husband Rishi Kapoor and son Ranbir Kapoor, the actress is pretty much excited about this project. Telling about the film, a media source revealed, "The film is tentatively titled Jug Jug Jiyo and is a dramedy that revolves around the lives of two couples of different generations, played by Varun and Kiara, Anil and Neetu. The situational comedy, spun around a North Indian family promises to be a riot, with the older couple's strained relationship bringing lots of laughs."

Varun will be seen playing an NRI in the film and it will be shot in real locations of Chandigarh, Mumbai as well as abroad.
