Kedarnath Fame Abhishek Kapoor, a few months ago, had announced his next directorial 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' which will be a rom-com. The current crush of Bollywood, Ayushmann Khurrana was roped in for playing the lead role in the same. And we will see Vaani Kapoor playing the leading lady in the film, making her first collaboration with Ayushmann.

The team of 'Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui' started off the shoot last month in Chandigarh and it's about a married couple's plight when the husband finds out that his wife is a transgender. And there's a third angle to this relationship for which Bigg Boss 8 winner Gautam Gulati has been locked in by Abhishek.

Reportedly, Gautam has signed the film as he liked the script of the film. A media source revealed, "Gautam Gulati will be playing the third wheel in their relationship. The makers were looking for a good looking actor who can perform as well. When they approached Gautam for the role, he liked it and agreed to be part of the film. The details of his role has been kept under wraps. He is expected to begin shoot for the film soon."

The actor will also be seen in Salman Khan's upcoming actioner 'Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai'. Apart from that, he has also shot a music single called Bewafa opposite Divya Khosla Kumar, that releases next week.
