Kangana Ranaut, the queen of controversies yet again takes the top spot to be on the headlines. Mumbai police on Wednesday issued a summon once again to Kangana Ranaut and her sister Rangoli Chandel and has asked them to appear on November 23 and 24 respectively over their "objectionable comments" on social media aimed at spreading communal tension in the community.
Well, this is the third time Mumbai police has asked the actress and her sister to appear before the Bandra police in the matter. The sisters were earlier supposed to be present on October 26 and 27 respectively but failed to appear. They were later asked to appear on November 9 and 10 but did not do so. Kangana later informed the authorities that she and her family are busy with the wedding ceremonies of her brother Aksht for which she went to Rajasthan.
Mumbai police had issued the second notice to Kangana Ranaut and Rangoli Chandel on November 3 and ordered them to appear before it on November 9 and 10 respectively. Both the sisters were booked for allegedly promoting enmity between communities through their posts on social media.
This all comes after a Bollywood casting director and fitness trainer, Sayyed had accused Kangana and Rangoli of defaming the film industry, portraying the people working in it in a bad light with claims of nepotism, drug addiction, communal bias, attempting to drive a wedge between artistes of different communities, calling them murderers, insulting religions, etc, on the social media and through public statements. The director registered an FIR on October 17.
