In October, Kiara Advani starrer 'Indoo Ki Jawani' finished its last shooting schedules and wrapped up all the remaining leftover patchworks. Just like other films are taking the OTT route it was also speculated that Indoo Ki Jawani would also release directly on the digital platform. But now all the floating rumors have been cleared now and it is officially announced that the film will release in theatres only.

Earlier the film was scheduled to be released theatrically on June 5th but the lockdown thwarted the release. So now it will release theatrically on December 11th, 2020 amid the 50% occupancy theatrical guideline owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Indoo Ki Jawani is the second film to hit the cinema halls. Earlier Diljit Dosanjh, Manoj Bajpayee starrer 'Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari' also released on Diwali and doing decent business at box-office. Trade Analyst and critic Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter to make the announcement and tweeted, "#BreakingNews... 'Indoo Ki Jawani' produced by Nikkhil Advani, along with Madhu Bhojwani, Niranjan Iyengar and Ryan Stephen, the film will mark the Hindi directorial debut of Bengali writer-filmmaker Abir Sengupta. Along with Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal, Mallika Dua, a popular social media influencer, is also going to be seen in a pivotal role. Kiara will be seen playing the title role of a feisty girl from Ghaziabad whose involvement in the dating app results in hilarious chaos. The film will hit the cinema halls on December 11th, 2020.
