Speaking more about the series, Rohit says,"After Mahabharat, I went to Indonesia and did a lot of shows there. After I came back to India,I have starred in a couple of music videos and a few short films. Then, I got busy with the making of Myopia and I am so happy that it is finally releasing. The story revolves around the famous Taj Mahal and it's a thriller. I am playing the protagonist Omkar Upadhyay who is a detective. Omkar has been having some trouble in his personal life and is confused as to how his life will turn out. Preparing for the role was quite tough and we had a lot of rehearsals with the other actors. The film is being directed by Ajay Bhuyan who is a well known director in the south. I have produced the film. As soon as I read the script, I realized that it has a lot of potential and should be shown to the audience."
He also adds," The shooting experience was amazing since it took place in Agra. We shot during December and January for around 32 days thus it was very cold. It was a bit of a challenge since being a producer and actor for the same series is not easy. ." Rohit is also donning a different look with short hair unlike what we saw before in Mahabharata.
The series will also star Saurav Gurjar as the antagonist, who was Rohit's co actor in Mahabharat. `Saurav and I had developed a good friendship during the shooting of Mahabharat and now that we are united again, we had a lot of fun on the sets of Myopia." Rohit thinks the story of Myopia is very intriguing and the hard work of the cast and crew should be acknowledged by the audience, Myopia will be released on 30th November on Sky 9.
