The makers recently changed the title of the film to 'Durgamati' which was earlier 'Durgavati'. The team has wrapped the shooting and is all set to release on 11 December on Amazon Prime. Mahie Gill has also been roped in the film to play the of a cop who is working on a case involving Bhumi's character. It also stars Arshad Varsi in a pivotal role.

Durgamati is a horror-thriller that will feature Bhumi Pednekar as an IAS officer. The story revolves around an IAS officer, who is imprisoned in a haunted house for interrogation. However, things take an unexpected turn when she gets possessed by a spirit.
