After a long break due to lockdown, Ajay Devgn is now ready to be back on sets. The actor is busy prepping for his upcoming directorial project 'May Day' that stars Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet in the lead role. Reportedly, Ajay will be soon calling the shots from December in Hyderabad and it will be a continuous hustle till January end.
`From December 11, Ajay jumps on to his directorial, Mayday, which reunites him with Amitabh Bachchan after almost eight years, with his De De Pyaar De co-star, Rakul Preet Singh, as his co-pilot. They will be shooting non-stop till January-end.", revealed a media source. Reportedly, several sets have been formed in Hyderabad and are all supervised by the producer of the film Mayday. Keeping the safety norms in mind, the team will be working in a bio-bubble in Hyderabad. `Rakul will join the shoot from mid-December and the entire team will be stationed together in Hyderabad in a bio-bubble.", The source further added.
Devgn is currently busy shooting in Hyderabad for his upcoming war drama film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' at Ramoji Film City. After the wrap of the film, Ajay Devgn will begin shooting for Mayday. After completing the Hyderabad shoot schedule of 'Mayday', the team will reunite for a schedule in Mumbai where Amitabh Bachchan will join the shoot.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji's action-fantasy film Brahmastra that stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
