Om Raut's upcoming biggie Adipurush has been making headlines for its star-studded cast and the amazing plot. The film stars Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles and now it has been recently learned that Gunjan Saxena actor Angad Bedi has been rocked for playing a vital role in the film.

Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the role of antagonist Lankesh and as per a report of leading daily, Angad Bedi will be seen essaying the role of Lankesh's eldest son Meghnad in the much-awaited film of Om Raut. "Angad has done multiple meetings with the team, and the producers believe he fits the role of Saif's on-screen son. Currently, on a family holiday in Delhi, the actor is expected to sign on the dotted line once he returns to the city. Angad, who will have to undergo physical transformation to portray the larger-than-life character, is expected to kick off prep next month," revealed a media source.

As per the Hindu mythology, Meghnad, also known as Indrajit, was an all-powerful figure who was granted a boon by Lord Brahma that he could only be killed by a man who had conquered sleep. Fans are extremely excited to see the big stars performing on the silver screen.

Earlier it was being rumoured that Ajay Devgn would be a part of the much-awaited film Adipurush, however, the rumours turned out to be fake. Adipurush will be a pan India film that will go on floors in January 2021. The film will be releasing in August 2022.
