Although most of the cast is pretty excited about the entire plan, Kamya Punjabi aka Sindoora is in a lot of tension these days.
"My passport had expired and I had given it to my agent for renewal around a month ago. But, there was no news of him and when the producer told me that I also had to be in Singapore, I made an enquiry with the agent. However, I could not get through him for many days and was tensed because all my documents were with him," recalls Kamya.
The agent was hospitalized and lying unconscious. Kamya somehow managed to get through his brother, who informed her about the mishap with the agent. After much persuasion, the agent's brother helped Kamya got back her documents. "I'm not a traveler and not too excited about Singapore, but what disturbed me and irritated me that my documents were with the agent and he did not even bother to inform me that he could not do anything about the renewal. Neither did the people in his office know anything about it," said the tensed Kamya.
Yesterday was a hectic day for Kamya. She started her day at 8.00 in the morning and went to Worli to apply for the passport.
Then she went to Mudh Island for the shooting since she is also working for ‘Who Rehne Wali Mehlon Ki'. Her day got over at 3 a.m. at Film City studio. "I have been so stressed physically and mentally these days, but I'm lucky that my producer has been helping me a lot."
Well things are fine now and Kamya hopes to get her passport within a few days and will be flying to Singapore probably by the first week of the next month. Meanwhile, Kamya has no problems playing a negative character and takes it as an achievement when people call her Sindoora.
She is happy to be a part of a successful show and says that the due to the fast pace of the story, people do not get bored watching it.
"The same thing is not dragged on episodes after episodes," says Kamya. The actress also reveals that there is going to be a big-big twist in the story at Singapore. A feast for the couch potatoes indeed!
