Now after two months after her sister was released, Showik finally gets bail. Well, NCB has alleged that the brother-sister duo had bought drugs, not for their own use but to supply them to Sushant Singh Rajput, which is 'a more serious offense' related to the funding of drugs. The anti-drug agency is also called Rhea Chakraborty, an active member of a drugs syndicate.
On September 11th, the special court judge G B Gurao rejected the bail plea of Showik Chakraborty, Abdul Basit, Zaid Vilatra, Dipesh Sawant & Samuel Miranda whose cases are filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Earlier, Rhea Chakraborty was one of the prime suspects in the Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and spent one month in Byculla Jail until the Bombay High Court granted her bail.
