After directing Shivaay in 2016, Ajay Devgn is once again stepping into his next direction with his upcoming film 'Mayday'. The actor-director-producer, who is soon going to begin the shoot in Hyderabad in December has finally locked his cast. After roping in Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh, Ajay has now locked Angira Dhar for a key role in the star-studded film.

"Angira has come on board to play a lawyer in this thrilling drama.", revealed a media source. Angira has earlier seen in films like Love Per Square Foot and Commando and confirming the news, she said in an interview, " I am thrilled and excited to share the screen with the true legends of our film industry - Amitabh and Ajay sir. Mayday is going to be one hell of a ride. Can't wait to be directed by Mr Devgn himself!"

Ajay, who is currently shooting for his war drama film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India' will also be seen acting in Mayday and will essay the role of a pilot. After completing the Hyderabad shoot schedule of 'Mayday', the team will reunite for a schedule in Mumbai where Amitabh Bachchan will join the shoot.

Reportedly, several sets have been formed in Hyderabad and are all supervised by the producer of the film Mayday. Keeping the safety norms in mind, the team will be working in a bio-bubble in Hyderabad. `Rakul will join the shoot from mid-December and the entire team will be stationed together in Hyderabad in a bio-bubble.", The source further added.
