Anil Kapoor puts all the rumors to rest, says, 'I have tested negative for COVID-19'!

The shoot of 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' got halted due to Varun Dhawan and Neetu Kapoor, tested positive for the COVID-19. Earlier it was reported that Anil Kapoor is also tested positive along with them but later on his brother Boney Kapoor released a public statement and announced that Anil is perfectly fine and is COVID-19 negative. Now, Anil Kapoor himself came out and declared himself COVID negative. The main purpose of his official statement was the floating rumors around the corner of the tinsel town of him being infected with the virus. Well, all the three actors were shooting in Chandigarh for the film.

Anil Kapoor took to Twitter and clarified the floating rumors of his being COVID-19 positive. He wrote, "In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. More about Jug Jug Jeeyo then, in the film Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan is portraying the role of a married couple and Neetu Singh and Anil Kapoor are playing the roles of their in-laws. The film is presented by Dharma Production and under the direction of Raj Mehta, the film will hit the theatres in 2021. For now, the shoot has been halted and makers will take time to resume the shooting as Varun and Netu are self-quarantine.
