Punjabi stars plead for 'Bharat Bandh' to protest against farm bills and to support farmers!

Punjabi stars have been urging the whole nation to support the `Bharat Bandh` that is called on December 8, by farmer unions that have been protesting on Delhi's borders for more than 10 days asking for a repeal of the Centre's new agri-marketing laws.

Recently, Gurpreet Ghuggi has posted a video to appeal this shutdown of one day. Also, request to not destroy any public or private property and peacefully protest as they did till now. In the caption, he just wrote - "Appeal

Actually, farmers are demanding the retraction of three farm bills, that are, Farmers' Produce Trade and Commerce Act, 2020; the Farmers Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020; and the Essential Commodities Act, 2020.

As the fifth round of talks between the farmers and the Centre remained unsettled on Saturday, the sixth round is cataloged to be held in Delhi on December 9. Let's just hope for the best for the nation and farmers too.
