Prashanth Neel's action drama film 'KGF: Chapter 1', has a different fan-following and as per the reports, it has been speculated that the film teaser will release on Yash's birthday in January 2021, who portrayed the main lead role in the film. Set on the drop back of 1960s Bombay, centers around Raja Krishnappa Bairya 'Rocky', born into poverty, the film focuses on the quest for power and wealth desired by the protagonist. KGF shows the huge scale of the gold mafia system in Kolar Gold Fields. In the film, Raveena is also playing an important role.

Recently, Yash shared an exclusive still from the film 'KGF: Chapter 2' on Instagram. The actor looked dashing in the black suit attire and captioned the post, "They say, All good things come to an end.. it may be the last schedule of KGF but the VILLAIN stays on... forever!! P.S : An exclusive still from the movie KGF, for all my dear fans, captured by our DOP @bhuvanphotography 😊." The actor through his post informed that film shooting is on its end schedule. 'K.G.F: Chapter 2' is an upcoming multi-lingual Pan-India project directed by Prashanth Neel. A sequel to the 2018 film K.G.F: Chapter 1, the film stars Yash in the lead reprising his role from the first film and Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist Adheera. The film was supposed to hit the theatres in October 2020, however, it was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Sanjay Dutt's health issues. The film will be dubbed in Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu languages. According to sources in the industry, the movie is supposed to be released on 14th January 2021. Still, the makers haven't announced the release date yet.
