Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani had join hands a year back for their upcoming horror-comedy film 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. The production on the film was suffered in March due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, so the team had to put the film on hold. Now, as per media reports, we have a recent update on the shooting of the film.

In a recent interview with a leading portal, Director Anees Bazmee revealed that the filming of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 will begin from this month. He also revealed that the team is planning to wrap the film by February-March next year. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 is a standalone sequel to Priyadarshan's 2007 iconic horror comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa that featured Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Vidya Balan and others in pivotal roles.

Anees also said that all the necessary precautions will be taken on the sets. The coronavirus pandemic put almost every film on hold but now the production houses and the makers have kick-started most of the film shoots. He further said that the team has not decided the release date yet but are focusing on the quick wrap of the film. The director will begin the shoot of his untitled romantic film once he completes the filming of 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. Bazmee has also started working on the script for the official remake of Mahesh Babu's 2011 Telugu blockbuster "Dookudu".

Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will soon start the shoot of his upcoming thriller 'Dhamaka' which he recently announced on his Instagram handle. While Kiara Advani was shooting in Chandigarh for her film 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' with Varun Dhawan but recently headed back to Mumbai after the Varun Dhawan tested positive for COVID-10. The makers delayed the shoot of the film and will resume once the actor will be fine.
